So, if you haven’t heard, today marks the first official day of summer!!! Summer has always been my favorite time of year, it’s filled with sweltering heat, ice cream, pool ventures, unforgettable adventures, late nights and even later mornings, oh, and how can I forget about the BEST fashion outfits of the year!
As you get ready for summer 2k16, we have 5 things that EVERY woman should do before this summer ends!
1. Go on vacation!
For most of us, we have worked, studied,”wifed” and “mommed” (because we know doing these two are full-time jobs as well, and are verbs just as much as they are nouns) all year! It is now your time to kick back and relax! Go somewhere you have never been and enjoy yourself!
2. Indulge in some ‘me-time’
Now ‘me-time’ is a little different from a vacation. This is your chance to get to know you just a little bit better, and to reconnect with the soul within. Find a nice little getaway spot, near or far to have a little bit of peace, and quiet!
3. Let Loose!
Eat some ice cream (even though you’re on some ridiculous diet), do something a little bit risky, and wear that mini skirt you have been dying to wear! Summer time is the time to do some of these things you have been waiting to do all year long, and possibly your whole life!
4. Read a book!
Now that you have a little bit of time, and life has slowed down you have the opportunity to get your hands on a great book! Take this time to learn something new or dive deeper into something that you are already passionate about!
5. Remember to: Dream. Plan. Create
Although summer is great time to have A LOT of fun and to create memories, do not forget that you have goals to complete now and once summer ends. Take this added break time to dream, plan, and create. Use this season to game plan and build for the future. Start thinking of some things that you could get done with a little extra time that you do have, as well as what could bring you closer to your goals – begin to create the future that you have always wanted!
Remember, every product or brand was once ‘just a good idea’!
